Crafts Wedding

This summer I had the huge honor of working with Riehl Events on the wedding of Mary Crafts and Rick Homer. Mary is the owner of Culinary Crafts (if you don't know how amazing they are, check out their website) and so naturally this wedding was a huge to do in the utah wedding world. We worked hours and hours putting together a design for the Rehearsal Dinner, the Ceremony and the family Lunch.  Mary was so great to work with and I absolutely love how everything turned out!!

The Rehearsal Dinner:

The inspiration behind this was an English pool-side picnic. We wanted everything to feel natural and fresh with also the structured feeling of English floral design. The event was held in Mary's backyard with close family and friends.

The Ceremony & Family Luncheon:

The events were held up at Red Cliff Ranch in Heber. The setting was absolutely gorgeous so we really wanted to capture the rustic yet elegant feeling in our design. Mary wanted to work with more sophisticated colors such as aborigine, citron, and taupe. For the ceremony, the aisles were lined with cream rose petals and heads of antique green hydrangea. Above we hung lots of barn lanterns filled over spilling arrangements and with candles. It was truly breathtaking!! The flower girls carried tiny cowgirl boots adorned with flowers and filled with hydrangea florets. The ring-bearer also carried a horse-shoe adorned with flowers and the rings. Afterwards the family luncheon was held in the most amazing barn. We set up an 80 ft long table and covered the entire thing in flower arrangements.  We used hydrangea, peonies, callas, tulips, cosmos, hypericum, green trick, and rosemary just to name of few flowers. It turned out beautiful!!

Special Thanks to Pepper Nix and Zuma Photo for the gorgeous pictures!

Behind the Scenes:
Preparing for such a huge event obviously was quite the undertaking! I just have to give a special little shoot out to my team! Mary Ann, Catherine, and Pat and of course all the other people that came to help (my sister, sister-in-law, Ashley and RE team members and of course Flowers On Main)! They were amazing and I wouldn't have been able to pull it off without everyones help! Here are a few pictures of the madness behind the scenes!
