Pretty in Pink

Pink is a fairly popular color for weddings, especially in the early spring. This wedding was fun because to turn up the volume on a classic we added splashes of coral to the flowers and accented with soft champagne and putty in the ribbon.

Date and Location: Early March, Salt Lake Country Club
Color Scheme: Shell pink with touches of bright rhubarb and champagne
Flowers used: Light pink hydrangea, coral tulips, white fringe tulips, garden roses, pink peonies, lily of the valley, and blooming branches

The bride really wanted a soft ruffly spring feel. We think the flowers used captured it perfectly. Three different centerpieces were used to break up the room and add variety. We also created a "wishing tree" in place of the tradition sign in table using blooming branches and hydrangea. Another unique feature was the cake flowers. A throw bouquet was created and placed on top of the cake, then used later in the evening for the bride to toss.
